Deployment Framework¶
Operations documentation defines how InfraLynx is built, promoted, deployed, observed, and supported across environments.
Operations Documentation Framework¶
Each operations document should cover:
- Environment scope
- Dependencies and prerequisites
- Deployment workflow
- Validation and rollback path
- Ownership and escalation
Current Deployment Position¶
Deployment implementation is intentionally deferred until platform and infrastructure chunks progress, but the documentation framework is established now so later work lands in a stable structure.
Planned Delivery Stages¶
- PR validation: lint, type check, unit tests, build validation, dependency scan
- Develop: artifact builds, container builds, development deployment, smoke tests
- Release: regression tests, staging deployment, release packaging
- Production: approval gate, production deployment, rollback capability
Operational Rules¶
- Operational documentation must be environment-specific where needed.
- Deployment steps must define validation and rollback expectations.
- Support, security, and escalation procedures must remain aligned with repository governance.
