Deployment Framework

Operations documentation defines how InfraLynx is built, promoted, deployed, observed, and supported across environments.

Operations Documentation Framework

Each operations document should cover:

  1. Environment scope
  2. Dependencies and prerequisites
  3. Deployment workflow
  4. Validation and rollback path
  5. Ownership and escalation

Current Deployment Position

Deployment implementation is intentionally deferred until platform and infrastructure chunks progress, but the documentation framework is established now so later work lands in a stable structure.

Planned Delivery Stages

  • PR validation: lint, type check, unit tests, build validation, dependency scan
  • Develop: artifact builds, container builds, development deployment, smoke tests
  • Release: regression tests, staging deployment, release packaging
  • Production: approval gate, production deployment, rollback capability

Operational Rules

  • Operational documentation must be environment-specific where needed.
  • Deployment steps must define validation and rollback expectations.
  • Support, security, and escalation procedures must remain aligned with repository governance.
