Context

InfraLynx needs a consistent visual language and reusable design foundation before application interfaces expand across multiple domains and contributors.

Decision

InfraLynx will establish a standardized design-system baseline in infralynx-design consisting of shared visual principles, portable tokens, CSS variables, and initial component standards.

Consequences

  • UI work gains a reusable source of truth for color, spacing, typography, and interaction timing.
  • Future component work can standardize against explicit rules instead of per-screen decisions.
  • The team must keep documentation, design tokens, and implementation artifacts aligned as the system evolves.
